Sonic Chaos does tear down more than a few of the walls the first two Sonic games had built, but this was mainly done to simplify the game and...oh, look, a puppy! Er, anyway, all the zones are proudly generic in theme, design, layout, and just about every other aspect imaginable, but this can be easily explained by...hey, remember that time we were playing Columns and the game went to level ten? That was great...I mean, the whole game feels smoother and more refined than Sonic's earlier 8-bit bundles of joy, although it ends up a little boring and unsatisfying. The Game Gear version has tweaked zone and title screens and altered music for the Gigapolis zone and intro because...did I forget to turn the oven off? I'll be right back! Rom Variations
